For FIKI...


Can't stop these tears from flowing down my cheeks...words can't express how heavy our hearts are. Fiki, you were such a sweet soul, so playful, gentle and caring yet firm in actions. Oh my God!!! Can't believe am writing these in your loving memory...only recently did we have a telephone conversation and after our plenty talks you ended up calling me "Bizness Madam" and was suppose to come see me when you arrived town and less busy. Hmmm...Ifeanyi! so that was meant to be our last and final conversation "eche u'ne ne"(Life is a mystery). Still hoping and praying it was all wrong information when I got the flight manifest via bbm broadcast and saw a name that resembled yours...intuitively I rang your phone and it went into voicemail...alarmed I feared the worst had happened to you my dear friend...oh Dana airlines o!!! Then news filtered in, it was indeed you in that ill fated flight...I could not sleep all through the night, hoping and praying that by morning, it'll be some mistake and you will call everybody to say you are fine...but your facebook page said the least o!!! People had started saying RIP to you Ifeanyi!!! Life is sooooooo short, only yesterday we were all together, dreaming big big things...memories flooding by...if only tears would and could bring you back to life I think I have cried you back to life already. Fiki muooooooooo!!! The failed Nigerian systems we talked about all the time has taken you and others away from us all at such tender age. Ka chukwu mere mpkuru Obi gi ebere nwannem nwoke. Anyi enweghi ike iju chukwu ajuju, onweghi kwa ihe anyi puru ime!!! Akwa anyi enweghi ike I kpughachite gi zu ike na nndukwa!!!!! Amen!!! Rest on Fiki...
