Woman to Woman...
Hey Y'all, by this I mean those passing by (waka pass readers) and my main peoples!*smiles*
Strictly for the Ladies:
I have asked myself this question times without number. Why are women cruel to eachother? Why does it have to be all competition everyother time? Why the hate, loathe, jealousy?
Shebi we all unique and beautiful in our own different ways? So why the cruelty seriously? Am saying this cause like some women, I have had to face these "woman cruelty" put it that way. Example, am going to an office now, I would prefer I meet with a male staff as to my fellow woman.
Once I was to go submit my curriculum vitae in some federal parastatal, having given a written note and an attached complimentary card of the AD administration of same parastatal, which I humbly presented ofcourse after greetings, (as per applicant concern) which was not returned properly...I only heard muffled responses and got a clean look up and down.
I met two elderly looking women, two younger ladies (a staff and a female corp member) and two men, all sitting and chatting idling away.
One would expect the women to be friendlier, but after telling them my mission and presenting the note, I got dismissed, infact almost sent away. I was too surprised. The men were trying to calm the women, obviously they were of same tribe as they started speaking in vernacular, which unfortunately for them I clearly understood and speak well too. You won't believe what these women were saying. They said: Imagine the way she just walked in like she's some goddess, flipping her hands up and down, giving us orders, because her boyfriend AD Admin gave her some stupid note! Well! No vacancy!!! That they said in English. And they continued again in vernacular, we also went to school! Rubbish! I was too dumbfounded. Shocked to say the least! orders how? all these happened in splits seconds.
When I was going to leave, I could not hold it in, I had to say some words in the same language they were using, I said "Thank you very much Madams" and that I was very sorry if I angered them with the way I spoke and left. I didn't hear a sound until I was far from them. Am sure that was some shocker for them...
Travelling sometime ago, aboard a plane, same treatment from the air hostess. You would see them smile beautifully at the male passengers...make e reach your side na...she's frowns or half smiles and is in such a hurry to finish with you. Same goes for female receptionists, shop attendants, fuel attendants, waitresses etc...especially if they are mere employees, not direct owners.
They wear this posture, as if you came to show them you are more than them, so however you act, you are judged instantly and given the rude treatment.
Abeg una pardon my ignorance or call it naivety, but isn't that pure case of inferiority complex?
The most outrageous one is from FRIENEMIES! Yes o! Ladies you call and think are your friends. The end up being your worst nightmare. I don't understand why we loathe ourselves that much! All fingers are not equal, what makes Miss "A" thick may not apply to Miss "B". It is better we understand that Miss "A" can have an atm boyfriend while Miss "B"s boyfriend is some broke ass (no offence guys). Its not Miss "A"s making he is broke. Same goes for married women.
Then they class of "BIGZ GEHS" (Rich ladies). Your bobo must be "having"(rich) for you to fit in, else you will be so ostracised and treated with disdain. You are never enough for their league. What happened to true friendship without conditions? How is the kind of car you drive, the house you live in, the job you have, recently the type of hair you wear a measure for "Woman Cruelty".
Trust me I have had a fare share of all experiences shared here, even more. Hence, I cannot extensively write them all. Just a "Thought" to share. Am wanting for answers, reasons for these "Woman Cruelty", solution if there ever be...
Its not a general assertion though. For every rule, there's always an exception.
