Friendship Friends

Only yesterday ago I was still Friends with Friendship
Usually for me Friendship is hard to give,
But not this time,
I gave it all to Friends.
Friends was meant to be by my side through
Thick and Thin!
If only I knew I was giving to the wrong friendship.

Friends I gave my shoulder to lean on,
Hoping I would get a pat.
Friends I gave Time to
Hoping to get a chance.
Friends I gave attention to
Hoping to get a glance.
Friends I gave Love to
Hoping to get Sincerity.
Friends I gave family to
Hoping to get a hug.
If only I knew I was giving to the wrong friendship.

When Love failed me I held on Friendship,
But Friends too let me fall
Deep Deep Deep
What True Friendship does that?
What true Friendship hurts Friends?
Maybe Friends was faking Friendship.

Only yesterday ago my long lost friend
Came calling,
With smiles and open arms I received friendship.
Then came memories of Friends past.
Do away with long lost friends can I?
Good Friendship are bonds worth keeping.
I hold Good Friendship Dear.
